Optimized & Industry-ready Solutions

For All Your Industrial Needs

The term generally applied to liquid organic compounds used on large scale to perform numerous functions in industry.
Applications are broad, varied and complex and each has its own set of characteristics and requirements. Proper solvent
selection and blend development have a large impact on the success of the operations in which the solvent is used, from
the prospective of economics effects, technicals adequacy, safety issues and most important environmental impacts on the
The earth.

Useful solvents are found in divers chemical classes , the most traditionally used of which are aromatics and aliphatic
hydrocarbons. Other classes include alcohols, ketones, esters, glycols, glycol ethers , chlorinated hydrocarbons, amines and
aldehydes.

In most applications, solvents serve transient function by facilitating a process or performing a task then exiting the
process. Even though solvent have temporary function, the success of industrial process and quality of the product from the
process depends on solvent selection. For example , an automobile coating applied using the proper solvent combination
has the gloss, hardness, adhesion and durability that enhance the appearance of automobile. Conversely, inadequate
cleaning of machined part because of poor cleaning solvent selection can interfere with subsequent processing steps,
resulting in product that does not have the quality expected by the purchaser. Poor solvent performance can also manifest
it self as a process economic penalty and poorer product quality.
